G Herbo Charged With Battery For Allegedly Assaulting Ari Fletcher: Report
A recent altercation between G Herbo and his ex Ariana Fletcher could have serious legal consequences, as it's now being reported that the rapper is facing a year behind bars. Two weeks ago, Herbo was arrested in Atlanta after he and Ari were allegedly engaged in a physical altercation. Ari claims that the Chicago rapper took their son from her and gave him to a friend before he beat on her.
"Chocked me, punched me in the face and all over my body, dragged me outside on the concrete by my hair after his friends drove off with my son, took me in the house and continued beating me," she said. "He wrecked my whole house, broke all type of sh*t, I have a black eye, my body scraped up from being dragged outside, bruises and cuts all over my body...Please don't speak on no old 'relationship play fights cuz this ain't that." According to TMZ, police on the scene said that Ari had minor scratches.
Herbo later jumped on Instagram Live to say that Ari invited him to Atlanta to retrieve jewelry that she stole from him. "Don't try to make it about anything else but this," the rapper said. "You still got $300,000 worth of sh*t." He went on to say, "I've never faked it with you a day in my life. You done lied and said all this type of sh*t. B*tch you know I don't got no STD 'cause you still wanna f*ck me. You still want to be with me."
TMZ now reports that Herbo has been charged with one count of misdemeanor battery for allegedly dragging Ari by her hair. Documents state that prosecutors say he intentionally tried to hurt the mother of his child, who is currently pregnant with boxer Gervonta Davis' baby. They also claim that he scratched her arm and left marks on her body.
